Hi everyone, I'll be leaving the SHO community with the sale of my black '89 SHO. I will give members of the SHO community first shot at buying my car because of all the help I've received over the years. I'd like to keep it in the family, so to speak. I'm posting information here and at Delphi. Does anyone know when the meetings at the SHOShop are? I'll list the negatives to my car: It's not running. I suspect an engine related problem(maybe related to a spun bearing?, no power). The premium sound system works intermittently. It has the usual front seat wear on the bolsters. The car has spent the majority of its life outdoors so the paint is in fair condition. It has an interior lighting problem(lights stay on, I pulled the bulbs) The positives: police grille, AC works, rear bumper cover recently replaced(by a soccer mom!), new clutch, new Tokico struts, new front strut bearings, new rear strut mounts, new '96 subframe bushings, new red poly rear swaybar links, new left
axle, alloy wheel spare, no major dents, no major accidents. I have a record of everything done to the car. I live in CA and want the buyer to tow it away when the sale is done. Sorry, no parting out. Please email me off-list with any questions or offers. Special thank-yous to David Bonds, Don Mallinson, and George Fourchy for their help over the years, and to all others who have helped me over the past 6 years(and 3 lists, by my count!). Regretfully, I never went to any SHO events so I never had the opportunity to meet any of you. I have learned a great deal about my SHO and gained confidence from you all to attempt to service it. I appreciate all your past help. Good-bye and Thanks, Steve Ota rsota@yahoo.com for all car sale inquiries
