[Shotimes] Rotors/Calipers

How much it costs you depends on what you replace! You say "rotors or
calipers", so I'll give me opinion on both ;^)
AutoZone carries the Aimco rotors, stock size, for $30. TireRack sells the
Brembos for $46 each. Sure, it sounds like a big difference ($92 vs $60)
but if you warp the cheap AutoZone rotors after 4 months (law of averages
since they have a 3 month warranty) you'll wish you'd spent the money on the
better ones.
Calipers are a similar story. AutoZone sells some (not remanufactured,
rather an aftermarket casting) for about $25 (after core refund). There's
nothing inherently wrong with these, but who knows how long they'll last.
Another option is finding a local parts store that sells remanufactured OEM
calipers. These will probalby cost a bit more, but could be worth it
depending on the quality of the "new" ones from AZ.
I'm assuming you'll want new pads? Lots of people use the Performance
Friction Carbon Metallic from AutoZone (about $29 for the set). These
perform very well for the money, have a lifetime warranty, but dust like
crazy. So, if you like to keep your wheels clean, plan on wiping them down
often. Better yet, keep a good coat of wax on the wheels so the dust
doesn't stick so bad!
TireRack sells the Hawk pads for about $55, not sure about warranty. Nice
thing about the PFCM pads from AZ is you can take them back to whatever
store is near you.
Stay away from the $12 pads. AutoZone, NAPA, and others sell these. You do
get what you pay for in a pad.
If you want something quiet and dust-free, but possibly by sacrificing a
*bit* of stopping power, you can go with the EBC pads. These are available
various places online.
Good luck! Make sure you put some fresh grease in your slider pin boots.

to my 93 SHO are warped.......how much is this going to cost me to fix, and
what are the best replacement parts to get?
Thanks
