[Shotimes] Valve Adjustment

I am preparing to do valve adjustments on a couple of SHO's.
The question I have should I be trying to get as close to the minimum gap as 
possible, or should I be aiming for something towards the middle of the 
spec?
Is there any advantage to making the exhaust tighter than the intake or vice 
versus?
