[Shotimes] '93 SHO oil leaks

1) After doing a crankshaft & cam shaft seal replacement job, it appears that
I still have oil leakage coming from the front of the engine. Has anybody had
this happen before, and any suggestions to fix this leak when I go back in
again? Somebody did comment about using emery cloth on the shafts prior to
inserting the seals, to ensure the shafts are smooth

2)  It also appear that the oil pan is leaking, and many calls to the local
ford dealer & auto parts stores claim there is no oil pan gasket for my '93
SHO, and I am supposed to use black silicone sealant. Does this info appear to
be correct??
