[Shotimes] SVT Taurus?

I think im the closest to an SVT car that we have, using the Wheels from the
never made SVT T-bird, Brakes from a 99 Cobra, Injectors from a 96(I think)
and MAF from a 98 Cobra. I got the stickers because of the parts, but there
was one never made from SVT. And soon as it arrives the 255lph pump from a
97 or 98 Cobra.

Still not a big accomplishment

Ain't never been any such animal. There was never an SVT Taurus, nor a
Taurus "Police Interceptor". Both badges have been added on. I also don't
think there was a Police version of the Gen II Taurus, just the Gen I's.

3.8s blow head gaskets, and the ATX aren't the same as the SHO.

Anybody know if such a thing exists? There is a '93 Taurus for sale, marked
SVT Police Interceptor. Dual exhaust, 3.8 motor, automatic (ughh), steel
wheels, pretty plain otherwise. I never heard of an SVT Taurus.

So I'm wondering about this for a winter car. Any known issues with the 3.8?
Would it be the same transmission used in the SHO? Any comments welcome...
