I tend to stay away from programs that try to offer you everything... like
most compromises, they do everything ok but nothing well. for Antivirus,
yes, I use norton antivirus... it's as effective as anything else out there.
for Internet security (read: firewall) I use Zonealarm Pro 4; you can get a
basic version for free that works just as well, and for adware/spamware I
use Spybot Search&Destroy. It's far more effective than Adware, and it
offers a whole host of options. Beyond that, I use safe and practical
internet surfing habits, something that can solve a lot of problems before
they start!
