[Shotimes] OT (computer stuf)

Linux is still an operating system for tech wienies, and not people who need
to get real work done and do things like make money. As Carl (I believe)
mentioned, Linux does a good job as a server OS, but it is still basically
Unix, which is not user-and business-friendly. FWIW, my IT friends who were
UNIX-and-anything-not-Microsoft-snobs have all embraced Linux as the second
coming of Steve Jobs (or something like that!!).

Which was my tipoff early on about Linux!!!!

I use System Commander to partition the drive to choose what OS to boot.
Since I still use some old dos stuff, I use win.3x which works great,
whereas win.98 does not.

This System Commander came with a basic version of Linux, but never
installed it. Wish I knew if Linux had a good fax program... But maybe I
don't have the time to screw around with learning something new... Too much
travel this week. Valpo to Coffeyville, KS and back. 1350 miles... At
least it was in the SHO!
