I just reread the words" just about perfectly flat"

Not good enough......PERFECTLY flat is the only way to prevent problems!!!!

I'll chime in with Mikey.....spend the $$$ and get it done RIGHT, this is
not a place to scrimp, unless you really like pulling the tranny to do it
again in a couple of weeks.
