[Shotimes] Gas tank sizes

Look under the tank on the passenger side. Should be a tag or marking with 4
digits. Like the beginning of a Ford part number. F4DZ or something along
those lines. Right above that should be a 2 letter code. Early cars had
AA=16 gal and BA=18 gal. From 93 and up FC=18 gal. Don't know what the code
for the smaller tank is? So your car should have the FC code.
The tanks are suppose to be baffled but some were not. Ford issues a TSB on
it and the fix was to replace the tank with a baffled version. Don't know
how to tell the difference between the two?
