[Shotimes] I hate RS Strauss

Strauss is a chain that we have here in NJ, possibly other states too.
They are a step below Pepboys as far as parts they sell and the brands.
Store is setup just like a Pepboys though. They're one mechanic told me
that, "All the white boys with $1200 suspensions on their civics come
here for an alignment." I didn't understand his point though, since
neither Kevin or I have civics, or 1200 coilover suspensions. The only
thing that was relevant was the white boy part, but that didn't have
anything to do with aligning a Taurus. As soon as we got there they
asked if Kevin's car had a camber kit already on it, and that they've
done so many Taurus's before and they're hard to do. Does any company
even make any camber plates for the rears? He already has the eccentric
bushings, and as far as I know thats all there is available. These
guys were just being lazy and thought the crazy "white boys" with their
Taurus's didn't know anything.

I have a rather long shit list for only being 23.

Who the hell is RS Strauss??

I have come across a few decent alignment shops, and my current favorite
does SCCA cars to whatever setting they want.

These Strauss characters sound like a Wal-Mart-type center that just
does
the transportation appliance cars.

So I finally got all of my tokicos and eibachs in with little problem.
That
is until I went to have the car aligned. I took it to RS Strauss, I
didnt
like them to start but they were the only place around that had an
alignment

machine that wasnt broken, and they refused to align it. They said,
"whats

the point of getting an alignment if you've lowered the car." I and
another
SHO owner were arguing with the mechanics, but I realized that it was
fruitless and left. Has this ever happened to anyone before, have a shop

refuse to align a car after putting suspension on?

Kevin "Never felt the need to have a Sh*t list before but Strauss just
started mine." Galuska
