[Shotimes] [OT] Air compressor blowing fuses

What size wire do you have feeding that circuit?  Fuses should be sized for
the wire not the load in such circuits.  Better have at least 12ga for 20A
and 10ga for 30A.  A 240V circuit is the answer.  Do you have two individual
circuits going to the area?
