John,

FWIW, this is the setup that I put in my '94. I'm not a big stereo freak,
but I wanted the ability to play CDs,as well as cassettes (I have lots of
'em!). Plus, I wanted a CD unit that plugged into the head without being
FM-modulated. The car already had better speakers and an amp installed (from
when Randy Smith owned it). These are both Kenwood. You can find them
online.

AM/FM/Cassette Unit: KRC 435 (about $140 at Best Buy)
10-CD Changer: KDC-C719 ($150 online)

The cassette slot is nice, as it is behind the faceplate, as I don't use it
that often. The head unit comes with a wireless remote control that controls
the head unit and the CD changer. Never had a remote before, but it is nice.

Subject: [Shotimes] GENI Stereo Question

Stereo in GENI has gone (.Y.) up. Need a replacement as the head unit
had volume issues and now the amp is shot. Any suggestions on a
replacement CD/Radio system including speakers, amp if req'd. OEM was
Premier System. Budget is ~500 U.S.

Thanks in advance,
