[Shotimes] Bypassing A/C pulley?

Are you crazy? A 1000?  I cant see it being that much, if you want grab a
new one (I was told it was only a 100.00) and Ill thrown it in, in a few
weeks for you when I come back down there. Takes maybe 2 hrs to do the whole
job. Ill refill the system too.

This is of course that you have no other leaks in the system, and the cost
of the compressor really is that cheap.

Whatever!  If it's the compressor, and I take it to a "professional", I'll
likely be out over $1000.  Also known as the current trade-in value of the
car ;^)

Hey,

Quick question.  Can I buy a shorter accessory belt for my '93 ATX and
totally bypass the A/C pulley?  I fear my compressor my be shot, but I
obviously don't want the pulley to seize, snapping the belt, leaving me
stranded with no PS, no alternator, etc.

Anybody have a part number, or just a length, that will work?
