if you are getting smoke, that means that its burning. If its burning,
nothing is really left to be wet. I would be willing to wager a few
pennies that the water pump is leaking onto your exhaust and burning
off.
Stop leak? I used it once. I don't recommend it to anyone (it does clog
your cooling system) but it did work for me.
Once the 3.2 goes in, I'll probably get a new radiator and water pump;
if that setup ever leaks, I'll probably go the extra step and find the
leak and fix it the proper way.

> For the past couple of days I have noticed some puffs of white smoke
coming from under the passenger side of the hood and wheelwell while
the car is stopped. It only happens when the engine is at normal
operating temperatures. It is definitely coolant because of the smell
and color. I first suspected coolant leaking from the weep hole in the
water pump, but nothing looks wet. I have been leaking small amounts of
coolant on the ground for some time now, which I hear is a common
problem, so I keep a close eye on the coolant level. Since the smoking
started I have noticed the engine running a little warmer than I recall
in the past. Should I try a radiator flush and some of that
coolant "leak stopper"? Has anyone had a similar problem, or any
suggestions? Thanks a million.
