Eric,

I liked Paul's Bullet mufflers so much that I became a
dealer for them through my DC CarCare business
http://www.dccarcare.com

I sell them for $60 each, they are full stainless full turbo
mufflers, you don't want the type that just go straight
through, they are too loud for most people. They are also
highly polished. Will look great for years if you take care
of them. If welded on, have the welder cover the mufflers
so weld splatter doesn't get on them and look bad.

These have a great deep tone that has not changed in years
on my V8 SHO and on Paul's V8. Should sound just as good on
a V6.

Ron is right, you need a good resonator in the middle of the
system to cut down on V6 raspy sounds. A cherry bomb type
muffler will work for this.

Do NOT go with the 3" system. It will be hard to fit
without rattles, lots of expense for no gain. If the stock
pipes are still solid (take a small hammer or big pliars to
them to check) the just keep them and put the new mufflers
in the back. Stock resonator should be fine for keeping
away the raspy sound.

Use the OEM style gasket joint at the back of the cats.

Some people have trouble with them, but I have never had one
go bad in over 230,000 miles of V6 driving in two cars.

If you want to order the Bullet mufflers, give me a call
toll-free: 877-444-5504 or reply offline to this e-mail.

Any galvanized, or non-stainless muffler will probably rust
out in 1-2 years. If you drive ONLY 20 mile or longer
trips, then they might last 3-4 years, but if you take many
real short trips, expect 1-2 years service life.

That is why most mufflers have less than a 2 year warranty,
the KNOW they will be gone shortly after that.

Good luck.
