Yes,
We use a proprod off of a mid90s Mustang (Cobra at that...hehe) for Tara's
cowl hood on the Opal Frost car.  Works great, but from what I recall, there
isn't a hole in the stock hood to hold it?  If I had a stock hood around I'd
look, but that is at least something to be careful about.

I have also seen a Mustang-type prop rod on a cowl hood that works well. It
has the "hook" at the end, so it can hook into the hood and has less chance
of popping out if you bump it, or it's windy.

I may got that route. The prop rod isn't bad, I just don't care for
something that can be easily dislodged.

I bought Adam's relocators at the convention.  I'm very happy with them, but
there is a bit of a clearance issue.  They interfere just slightly with the
sides of the hood so that it doesn't close flush with the fenders.  I need
to try grinding the corners of the fender portion of the relocators down so
they can be turned inboard just about a millimeter (or enlarge the holes
just a bit).  But then the hood struts would rub the tops of the strut
towers just a bit more.  It works just fine, but it's TIGHT!
