Just looked. There are a lot of holes in a stock hood. There are 11 small
holes along the leading edge, then there are 4 long slots a few inches
inside the leading edge. Should be no trouble.

There are a ton of cars out there with factory prop rods, so there may be
one that even looks/works better than that Cobra setup.

We use a proprod off of a mid90s Mustang (Cobra at that...hehe) for Tara's
cowl hood on the Opal Frost car.  Works great, but from what I recall, there
isn't a hole in the stock hood to hold it?  If I had a stock hood around I'd
look, but that is at least something to be careful about.
