One of the funniest things I ever saw was at a Chevy show a
few years ago.
The local Corvette club had been placed on the front row
next to the highway for most "eye" appeal, but they all made
a big deal of lining up perfect in the same direction and
with the front hinged hoods all propped up with the factory
mechanism.
Then a big wind came, and lifted all the hoods so the
built-in mechanism clicked and down they all came one just
after another as the blast of wind went down the line. It
was as well choreographed as a chorus line!
NO damage that I know of, I don't dislike Vette owners, but
it was sure funny.
