I have installed this kit also and like it a lot. I also had to grind a bit
to make them fit perfect. My issue is the ball stud shoulder would contact
the strut due to the angle of the install. I used my Dremel tool and worked
the stud base down a little further so the strut could pivot without
binding. I noticed he has changed the design a little bit. The part that
bolts on the hood is a rectangular shaped piece on mine and now it looks
more L-shaped.

but there is a bit of a clearance issue. They interfere just slightly with
the sides of the hood so that it doesn't close flush with the fenders. I
need to try grinding the corners of the fender portion of the relocators
down so they can be turned inboard just about a millimeter (or enlarge the
holes just a bit). But then the hood struts would rub the tops of the strut
towers just a bit more. It works just fine, but it's TIGHT!
