About 320 hp-330 ft lbs of torque. My 3.2L ran nitrous (.036 main jet) on a
stock clutch. It would BARELY hold as long as you didn't heat up the disc
and drove it right, but it held if you drove it right. 12.9 @ 109 mph in a
stripped out beater 89 with that clutch.
BTW a clutch/tranny/drivetrain part has a torque rating, not a hp rating.
HP is just a math equation of torque at a certain rpm. Torque is the actual
turning force. A nitrous motor w/ stock cams may make less hp than a
supercharged motor with wild cams, but the nitrous motor probably makes a
lot more torque (power) and would stress a friction disc much more. A stock
clutch is good for about 275 ft/lbs at the wheels. (that's pushing it)
