Oh, but the pad does move out, because of the new caliper
bracket.  The 96 upgrade, even  with the 94/95 pads will
have more swept area than the previous brakes.  With the new
96 pads, even better because it will use to the outer edge.

More disk mass, more swept area leads to better heat control.
