Use the clear dielectric grease.
The heat sink grease (white) is thermally conductive, but not electrically
conductive (it's got Silicon in it so it's obviously not a conductor). The
dielectric grease (clear) is neither thermally conductive or electrically
conductive. It is used on electrical contacts for protection and to stop
corrosion. The metal to metal contact (of the contacts) can push thru the
dielectric grease whereas the white heat sink goop is very, very sticky.
FYI,
Silicon - a naturally occuring element that is non-conductive (capitalized
because it's an element)
silicone - goop in a tube that you buy at Home Depot to seal your windows
and bathtubs or make your breasts larger. It is made with Silicon but they
are not the same thing.
