 One more thing. Have you looked in front of the radiator and around the fan
shroud to make sure you don't have a bunch of debris in there? I have
changed radiators before on a non-SHO and found so much junk around the core
I am pretty sure that was the entire problem!!

 Love them Corvairs!! Just DON'T break a fan belt!!!
