[Shotimes] K&N Air Filter

I have an AMSoil drop in panel filter that I'm going to be looking to sell
shortly. I just got a Pro-M 77 with a cone, and I have a SHOshop can to go
with it. If interested please email me off list. It needs to be re-oiled,
but the oil for them is about $2.

The cone filter looks cooler and will sound cooler but sucks hot, under hood
air into your engine. Not cool! I believe Paul Nimz has more solid data on
this.

If you want the ultimate filtering ability, you should probably use the
Amsoil oil filter. A little more restrictive than the K&N but keeps all that
dirt out of the engine.

Don Mallinson, the president of the SHO Club and an all around good guy,
used to own a dynamometer and ran some before and after on a panel K&N vs.
stock filter. I believe they were within 1/2 a HP of each other.

I was wondering what would be the best air filter option? Either the K&N
cone filter or the K&N regular box filter. Whats the best one for the money?
Is there much of a difference to spend more for the cone filter?
