The Gen 3 is very sensitive to intake temperature.  If your car is stock
then getting rid of the pre-airbox intake silencer is a must and less
restrictive mufflers.  A cone filter in the Gen 3s engine compartment is
only for the aural experience and will net a loss of HP in the summer.  You
can put them in the fenderwell.
