Carl P bails my butt out bigtime with: "Hi Mark, You are in rare company
with this. I don't know many people that chose to go this route for CD player.
This setup has worked flawlessly in my 92 for 12 years. Here are some notes:
1. Hit the play/pause button instead of the off button."
Heh, heh. Sorry to spam the list with my woes. My bad for being a digester
(looks like you copied me in, but it didn't get here yet). The PLAY/PAUSE
button is it? Yea verily and forsooth. Ran right out and tried it. Lit it up
like a charm. Next thing ya know, a lead zeppelin squashed my SHO! ("Been a
long time, been a long time...")
At least it's abundantly clear how to turn it OFF, not that I really want to
now!!
BTW ain't this a great car with most all the lux goodies already built in?
Here's one touch I'm really appreciating in this rainy Spring: if you roll the
front windows down, the rubber trim squeegees 'em off almost perfect. Lotsa
new cars don't do that trick, if the front windows even roll all the way down
that is ;-)
Cheers,
Mark L.
