VO: "Are oversize bearings available for the SHO V6? I'm not aware of any,
can you steer us toward a source? Maybe there's a substitute bearing that
could be used?"

Maybe the SHO isn't old enough YET to have oversize bearings available,
though it's starting to sound like it's about time for some. They probably don't
make 2nd overbore pistons and rings yet either ;-) Quite a tribute to Yamaha.
But sooner or later we'll need this stuff to keep our pets on the road.

VO: "Otherwise, if stock bearings are the only ones available, then what
does a person do with Plastigage results? Enquiring minds want to know. Thanks."

Well, perhaps something like starting to look for a low-mileage motor (or
relevant pieces thereof) on ebay or in the boneyards, before the grim reaper
comes KNOCKING. And in the meantime, maybe rent a 2004 Whatever from Hoitz to go
visit the in-laws in Bumf, Saskatchewan (is that better, Shylo?)
