OK...thanks to Alan Fanning, here's the scoop....

Lowrider has a PFE sensor.  Later model cars (not necessarily SHOs....I have no
knowledge here) have DPFE sensors, if they have EGR.

PFE sensors have ONE tube going to the EGR system.  DPFE sensors have two, since
the D means differential, as in comparing one pressure source to another.  The PFE 
sensor just measures the presence of exhaust gas pressure in the EGR system, while
the DPFE measures the upstream (exhaust side of EGR passage) pressure vs the
downstream (intake side) pressure.  It should measure equal pressures with the EGR
closed.  There is more exact monitoring of the valve's position with a differential
sensor, so its potential failures, both opening and closing, can be more accurately
determined.
