FYI...

I checked it with my fingers just after getting home today...1 hour on the road, 75
mph, 88 degrees ambient.

The hose was fine....warm, but not so much that I couldn't rest my finger on it.  It
looks like for street use one can use regular rubber hose, as long as one monitors
it every once in a while.
