Explorer doing 70 in a 55 and was 'let off' with a written warning that I
had to pay $75. My choice was a state ticket ($181 minimum and points) or a
township 'warning' for $75 and no points. Guess which one I picked?

I hope he is saying that amount is for going 15 or 20 over the speed limit.
I live in Wisconsin and have not heard that before. I got nailed doing 78
in a 65 about 4 years ago on my way to school and it cost me about $94
bucks.
