Don't take this as a flame, but most of your statements are
false.

1. Speed limits are NOT and never have been set based on
the worst drivers. They are set for closer to the majority
of drivers/speeds. If it was the worst, we would have 30
mph interstates.

2. Yes some do, most do not.

3. They have to have a way to separate the good drivers
from the bad ones. I would rather the people that have the
wrecks, and do the speeding pay the highest bills than those
that are trying to abide by the rules.

4. Not ALL problems are blamed on speeding or racing. Just
one example, Illinois and a lot of states have Left Lane
bandit laws recognizing that slower cars are causing
problems too. Facts are that speeding and street racing
cause a lot of problems, and are high profile. But they
aren't the entire focus of law enforcement by any means.

5. Many polititians and Media don't, but not all, many DO
recognize good driving and know what is safe, and what you
think that is and what they think that is is probably a lot
different.

6. Yes, you used absolutes to describe problems that can
not be defined by a blanket statement. The point is that
you can't paint with that broad a brush and expect to be
taken seriously.

Does it SEEM sometimes like what you say is true? Yes, but
if you pay attention and think about it, life is not even
close to that unfair unless you are ALWAYS doing the wrong
thing, and then you must expect to be caught a lot of the time.

Again, I am not flaming you, don't want to start any war,
buy just want you to think about what you are saying. You
aren't just seeing the glass half empty (instead of half
full), you have busted the bottom out of the glass and see
NOTHING in it! Lighten up, life isn't that unfair. :)
