Being young helps, but typically you are more active when young, which is a
big part of it. It's a lifestyle, it's not just what you put in your mouth.
I ate like a horse in college, but never gained a lb due to 3 hr long soccer
practice 5-6 days a week. Typical 10-12 lbs lost water per game. Stop
playing, become less active, put on a little weight.

I personally think any diet that cuts out fruits and vegetables is nuts. I
love meat, but you gotta keep it in measure.

Small portions (eat less, more times a day), LOTS of exercise, drink lots of
water, and just common sense. Lay off the sugar, sweets, and high fatty
foods. A good rule of thumb, is the more natural state it's in (raw
fruits/veggies) the better it is for you. Enriched and processed stuff
isn't what you want. Just cuz the scale says what you want, doesn't make
you healthy.
