[Shotimes] Parking brake problems

OK, Thanks Kevin I'll give it a try.
But my original question still remains, Is there any way to repair or
replace the rubber pad that is supposed to contact the switch?

Try spraying the switch with a lubricant. Then work the switch a few times
to get it inside. It gets sticky over time. . .
