[Shotimes] CMP

This afternoon I took the CMP off and was wondering if there is a way to do 
a check?Voltage?
There was some liquid on the inside of the case,it looked to be power 
steering fluid.Should there be some concern?The contacts were corroded.It 
looks to be factory...Pick&Part again!
