yes.  best bet is to check under the hood with the car running and the air
on.  if you see the clutch TRY to engage, but having a hard time, then it's
clutch time.  if it's engaging on and off quickly, then you are low of
freon.

In my experience messing with the clutch gap is a temp fix since usually it
doesn't take much slipping/heat to pooch the disc and pulley facing, best
bet is to just replace the coil, pulley, and disc as a whole unit.  the snap
rings for the pulley (and especially the coil) can be a pain, easiest thing
is to take off the alt, and unbolt the compressor so you can angle it up to
get at the snap rings.

had to put a clutch on the 92 a few months back, I think it's the 2nd I've
put on.  not bad for 207k, I think the compressor and other than 1 line a
friend replaced, rest of the system is factory parts.  still blowing 38
degrees going across the mojave at 115 degrees for the convention.
