Do it every 30,000 miles or so. You can do it yourself, there is a procedure
written up on how n either www.shotimes.com or www.v8sho.com.

Personally, I use Amsoil ATF. http://www.amsoil.com/products/atf.html

Subject: [Shotimes] Tranny flush

Any thoughts on getting a '93 ATX POWER flushed, with 130,000+ miles on it??
It has had the pan dropped and a new tranny filter placed a couple of times,
but nothing recently. Am I living on borrowed time with the original tranny,
and should I just let life take its course on the tranny?? I thought I had
heard not to flush the tranny once it got a certain mileage/age on it, cause
it will dislodge some sludge that may get caught in places it doesn't
belong???

Thanks
Bob
