Here is a cut-n-paste of an email that I sent to Nimz. I will also attach a
PDF wife a map/hotel list for the area.

He place to look is in Auburn Hills, MI along Opdyke Road. As these lists
show, there is a large group of hotels in the Opdyke Road/University Drive
area, which is right off I-75 Exit 79 (University Drive).

++++++++
WRT Big Buck Brewery, the Marriott Courtyard is right next door, and Eck,
Hurder, Doucette stayed there last time (and most likely this time, also).
The Fairfield Inn is then next door to the Marriott.

Across the intersection of University Drive/Opdyke (close to Big Buck, but
need to drive to them) are the Motel 6, Holiday Inn Select, Hampton Inn,
Comfort Inn, Candlewood Suites, Amerisuites, and a few others.

All of these hotels are in Auburn Hills, MI, and most likely have Opdyke
Road addresses.

Travelocity shows room st the Courtyard Marriott for $89.00 and $129.00
Travelocity shows rooms at the Fairfield Inn for $64.00 and $74.00

The Extended Stay (3 buildings over on Doris Dr.) has rooms for $65.99
through
all of the above sites.
