Rick,
 
I went right to the Marriott site, and checked for both the Courtyard and
for the Fairfield in Auburn Hills.
 
There are rooms available in both of them for October 22-24th.
 
There must not be rooms available to Expedia and Hotels.com

Expedia showed no rooms available for the Marriott Courtyard or Fairfield
Inn
 
Hotels.com doesn't show anything available at either place
 
 
ATMhotels.com shows the Courtyard Marriott for $79.00 
ATMhotels.com shows the Fairfield Inn for $64.00
 
Travelocity shows room st the Courtyard Marriott for $89.00 and $129.00
Travelocity shows rooms at the Fairfield Inn for $64.00 and $74.00
 
The Extended Stay (3 buildings over on Doris Dr.) has rooms for $65.99
through all of the above sites.
