John, here's the SHO Forum link on cutting the floor.

IMNSHO, this is the only way to do it, plus the next time is a 30-minute
job.

But the question was , where to cut the hole, not how you did yours, the
question was where to cut the hole, that is the trouble on these lists
people don't answer questions, they give opinions, and yes I am guilty of
that too. That said, does anyone know where the hole needs to be cut ??

isn't that hard to just drop the
tank. I've heard lots of people on the list complain about this and I never
understood it. Working in my dad's shop long ago I had to remove lots of
tanks and it never was that hard. I pulled the tank on my 90 and installed
a new fuel pump and it wasn't hard at all. The hard part is actually
disconnecting the rubber connector for the fuel inlet tube.

exactly to cut the floor pan under the back seat to access the pump with out
droping the tank. That is the way to do it , ?? Correct am going to order
the pump from PCE, I think is where everyone said to get it. I figure the
190 should be good for what i am doing, they have a 155 but the 190 is not
much more TIA for the help John
