Ron,
Thanks for the part numbers. Looks like I'm gonna be havingn my dealer order
me up some new ones. I found on the SHOforum that Dave Ladely had used ones
from Energy Suspension from a mustang kit. He reported good results over
what he originally had. I was leaning that way but I have begun question the
designs of the mustang ones. The OEM insulators are formed to fit the
springs and the perches, while from the looks of it, the ES parts are just
flat. I'm thinkingn that overall I'd rather have the molded parts from ford,
but I will prolly grab 2 packages of the ES Type G Spring insulator tubes
that slip onto the spring's coils at the bottom. I've seen stock SHO's with
a tube of rubber that is slid up on the bottom of the coils, I figure adding
a tube like this on my Intrax springs with the konis might strike a nice
balance.

Unless you have a line on more sources than I could find on the Internet,
the spring insulators (rubber donuts for the bottom of the springs) are only
available from Ford for about $10 each. The part #s are:
F1DZ-5K617-A
E8DZ-5414-A
Sorry, I don't recall which is the front or rear. I "think" the F1DZ was the
rear.
FWIW, I thought that my 100K+ insulators were bad, but when I cleaned them
with WD40, they were as nice & pliable as the new ones I bought.

I seem to remeber some discussion a while back about the insulator pads from
a Mustang or something from Energy Suspension being a close or exact fit for
our cars? I'm doing a suspension for a friend and while he's having me reuse
all the old worn out stuff (cept rear mounts) I was doing all new everything
on the suspension, but I didn't remember the insulators. Can anyone give me
a part number of waht I should have a local parts place order for me? I'd
like to get the ES ones if they work fine for our cars, as I see how weak
the ford OEM units are as they are falling apart on the OEM struts for a low
mileage car.
I need stuff to do the entire car. Also if anyone is interested I might have
either a brand new pair of front Taurus Police strut mounts or my recently
delivered Speciality Products front camber plates (Prosuspension), not sure
which I want to use on my car yet.
