[Shotimes] Surgical Instructions (now OT for a Nissan Truck)

Not in a good mood today, because the AWA's Nissan truck has a gas leak from
the top of the tank. And this is just after spending $450+ in brakes and
suspension parts plus 2 days wrenching on it.

The metal fuel line that is apparently not part of the pump has rusted
though. Turn the key on and it squirts all the way to the other side of the
frame. Could really use an access hole in this sucker, but that would mean
cutting a hole in the bed.

Pulling the tank may or may not be a problem. The skid plate had 4 big
bolts that came out without much problem, likely because they were full of
lock-tite, but the fifth stud broke right away, but is likely not needed
anyway.

Worried about the 6 bolts that hold the tank to the frame. I'll let the wet
gas dry until next week-end, but do I need just the neighbor standing by
with a hose and fire extingusher, or should I call the fire department?

Was thinking about taking it to the Nissan "stealer" but it would have to be
towed and that would add more than I could afford on top of the "stealer's"
$75/hr labor rate.
