Replace your clutch and T.O. bearing. Also, and this is MUST DO: Replace the clutch fork shaft bushings! They are the reason the clutches go so fast the next time around! Put grease on the shaft and inside of the bushings before you put it back together and the clutch will not click or catch on you again.

hey everyone
i haven't checked my SHO mail in next to forever b/c i've been really busy, but i finally got around to it today and something caught my eye. i was reading a little set of emails about someone's clutch being hard and clicking alot when they're trying to put it in gear. i'm having this exact same problem, only mine is getting pretty bad. sometimes it just doesn't go into gear, sometimes it grinds. is this simply my clutch. somebody sent a reply talking about changing tranny fluid, which is something i've never done. problem is, i don't know where the tranny fluid goes on this think. yes laugh i'm stupid. i've had people tell me places that it should be and it's not, and i've had others telling me it doesn't use tranny fluid. can someone help me on that, and am i just doomed to end up in the clutch shop soon?

sounds like you are getting the dreaded throw-out bearing scuffing of the
input shaft.my 91 did it and i had the whole clutch/throw-out bearing
replaced while it was apart.it should start grabbing while in gear with the
clutch engaged-making it feel like the clutch isn't disengaging.soon you
won't be able to get it into gear unless the car is parked and not
running.BOB
