All else being equal (which it almost never is), vented would be better, but
in this case, it don't matter.
We had this discussion again last week. On a car with the rear proportioning
valve in place, it makes NO difference. On a car with plugs, with heavy
track use, it "might" matter. FWIW, I have run solid rears with the plugs
for a few years now. No problems, they work fine. I also posed the question
as to where are the folks with the warped, overheated rear solid rotors. He
only comment was from Paul Nimz, who turned a rear rotor blue when the
caliper was frozen....hardly a typical usage.

I was under the general impression (from this list) that solid rotors were
better than vented rotors...
