When I went to LA to visit my daughter several years ago, I stopped in Bakersfield
to see Lowrider's original salesman, Rudy Galacia, who remains a very good friend.
He wasn't there that day, but a young saleslady came up to me and asked if she could
help me. I told her I wanted to show my SHO to the folks who were there when I got
it.
She said, "What"s a SHO?"
I asked her to say hi to Rudy, when she saw him, and left.
..............!!
Rudy himself, who has been there since he was a kid, has constantly said that he
always expected me to know more about the new cars than he does. He only can find
out what the dealer tells him, while I have time to go exploring and checking the
internet and clubs, etc.
