I don't know that more HP was an issue - C&D labeled the SHO as fastest
sedan under $50,000. Certainly the crappy brakes and reliability would scare
any reasonable person away. :-)  And it is a TAURUS, which doesn't offer
much cachet if you're trying to make an impression.  IMHO, of course.
