Nope.

'98 was the same as a '99. Reason I know is that I was going to buy a
'98.....when we thought that was the last year. Looked at a number of them
at the Louisville Ford dealers, did test drives, etc. The final stickers
were $29,550 IIRC, and '99 had them go up $50 to $29,600.

Ron, I believe only 1999 had the car as coming only one way. 
  I thought 98 you could still order a stripped version.
