I did mine without having to get an alignment. Just separate the knuckle
from the LCA and pull the knuckle out.

I got the socket from Autozone for free.

Well, I couldn't find a 30mm deep easily, so I got a 1.25 semi-deep at
Discount/Advance for less than $7 - worked!

Before I go further, is there any method that won't require major, immediate
wheel alignment when the job's done? (Or, better yet, no wheel alignment?)

The LCA and tie rod are off, but the strut is still in place - exactly how
is the hub separated from the axle (keeping the above goal in mind)?

Thanks again,

Mark
