While in the Navy at on a submarine going to fire a test missile out of Port
Canaveral / Cocoa Beach it would rain every day at 14:00. The first time I saw
a small truck fogging the area for bugs I thought it was on fire.
I always thought that Florida would be a great place to live if you didn't
have to work and you had a nice boat AND one of those air conditioned suits
the astronauts wear. :)

I never experienced hotter weather than being at Road Atlanta and Commerce
Raceway.
BTW, I never said the convention had to be in July... Also, lot's of
people from up north come to Orlando in July. The issue with July, and
June for that matter is that the rainy season starts by then, so in the
central part of the state you can usually set your watch to when it rains
in the afternoon.
