Yes, I agree with this. There is such complexity in the design of the car
(I'm not just singling out the SHO), and so many interdependent systems
and components that play off each other. An issue with any one will
adversely affect those all around it. Diagnosing the problem is also
difficult. For instance, while I knew my front struts needed to be
replaced, I never imagined that the right front was strut was disconnected
from its housing. This caused additional NVH that took me years to
isolate. Same for the rear motor mount. Then if you stiffen up your
suspension, the NVH will be amplified. I also have a suspicion that the
past vibration also had to do with causing the oil leaks the engine has
now (but will soon be resolved hope). By the time all is said and done I
will have replaced every component in the front suspension/driveline.
Parts wear out and need to be replaced.
