Very True
I think another reason I was slow to find the problem
is because my front main seal (and possibly the rear)
is/are leaking oil and spraying all over the place.
The grease from the CV joint was probably there on the
transmission but I didn't really notice it since
everything else looked so cruddy.

I am swapping in a used subframe (it's in better
condition than mine) when I do the 3.2 swap. I plan on
coating it with something and the more I think about
it, that color probably won't be black. It'll be so
much easier to find problem areas quickly with a
different color (like grey). If I have the time, I may
coat the LCA's and tension rods as well.
